Our Inspiration

Knowing the origins of a company tells you a lot about the people involved in it. The Baraka Institute began with Executive Coach Feroshia Knight and a singular vision. After a decade spent developing business leaders and their organizations, Ms. Knight had an unquenchable desire to help even more people to create meaningful experiences, explore possibilities, and achieve their greatest potential in all aspects of life--personal, business and community. To that end, she founded The Baraka Institute: Leadership Development & Coach Training Center, offering cutting-edge skill development in the art and science of change-making.

Her lifelong dream began with a vision of a network of thriving individuals, businesses and organizations devoted to bringing more clarity, passion and meaningful experiences into the world. What she once fondly called her “Army of Change Agents” is now a worldwide community of professionals dedicated to personal and professional mastery of their own lives and the lives of others.

Today, Feroshia, along with her vibrant team of professional coaches and instructors, still holds the door open for anyone wanting to step into his or her greatness and help others to do the same.
